Location: * Chester Responsibilities: * Team Management: Grow, manage, and support the ecology team within the studio. * Ecological Input: Provide expert ecological input for planning applications, conduct field surveys, and write comprehensive reports. * Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities to expand our services, write fee proposals, manage budgets, and control project programs. About You: * Experienced Consultant: Proven track record in ecological consultancy with excellent organizational and goal-oriented skills. * Innovative Thinker: Proactive, solutions-focused, and willing to go the extra mile, with a strong eye for detail and articulate communication skills. * Committed to Growth: Dedicated to personal and professional development, with a passion for sharing knowledge. Experience & Qualifications: * Educational Background: Degree in Ecology or a related subject with significant project delivery experience. * Professional Membership: Member of a professional body such as CIEEM or CIWEM, licensed for at least one protected species (ideally) * Sector Knowledge: Robust understanding of the ecology sector, survey schedules, and ecological reporting.
