QHSE Officer

Responsibilities * Provide technical assistance in development, implementation, monitoring and review of the safety arrangements and policy * Control the Health & Safety policy of the company, ensuring the company is compliant with any changes in legislation * Control and organise Health & Safety committee * Provide/organise Health & Safety training as requested by management and safety committee * Ensure the Company risk assessments procedures and processes are in line with current legislation * Monitor Health & Safety throughout the company ensuring compliance from all employees and management team of the company * Obtain advice from external bodies as requested by management or the safety committee * Control the first aid arrangements of the company ensuring all first aid representatives have adequate training * Control the company accident and incident reporting, liaising with external bodies as and when required * Ensure that all employees have the required level of Health & Safety training. * Control the fire safety procedures of the company * Provide a Health & Safety induction to all new employees of the company * Provide assistance in the development of the risk assessment associated with the design, manufacture, transportation and installation/commissioning of the equipment * Conduct internal audits in line with plan and follow up/close non-conformance to ensure the company is complaint and maintains ISO 45001 standard * Coordinate and maintain Fit4Nuclear Accreditation * Manage the health surveillance of employees as required by their role * Facilities management, including managing contractor control, ensuring the company is fully compliant to legislation.
