Medical Laboratory Technologist

Position Summary Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) opportunity now available at the Kootenay Lake Hospital in beautiful Nelson, B.C.! This is a permanent full-time 1.0 fte position. Days of work are rotating and shift times are days and evenings with participation in the overnight on-call required. Typical duties include: routine and/or complex tests utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments, greeting patients, collecting and/or receiving specimens, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), validating/reporting test results, maintaining instruments and preparing solutions and control agents.
