We’re currently searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive brand awareness. Additionally you will be responsible for generating leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking at trade shows to build the company’s client portfolio. This role will be working directly with the Sales Director. Job Requirements:Design and develop strategies that move an organization toward a specific goal or purposeGenerating leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking at trade showsBuilds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitorshave a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about themresearch and attend seminars, conferences and events to build your business's network and profileConduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutionsPreparing status reports on goalsTracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.Discovers and explores business opportunities.Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.Proactively builds positive relationships inside and outside the organization to support the company strategy and vision.Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities.Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.Assigning the sales targets and quotas to the business development teamsSetting up customer meetings in order to deliver sales pitchesMaking sure that the departmental goals are all in line with the growth strategy of the companyStudying the market and finding the best strategic partnerships that will bolster the true power of your business and its growth.Coordinates requirements, develops and negotiates contracts, and integrates contract requirements with business operations to close new business deals.Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.Utilizes analytics tools to assess viable business development opportunities by leveraging internal and external data.Researches customer needs and trends and uses the information to inform the business and product development strategies.Look beyond the company's current context to discern future growth opportunities.Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Develops strategies for breaking into new and existing markets.Using customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to manage interactionsBusiness Development Manager Qualifications / Skills:Closing skillsMotivation for salesProspecting skillsSales planningSelling to customer’s needsMarket knowledgePresentation skillsSharp negotiation and networking skills Clear verbal and written communication skills Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potentialStrong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques Meeting sales goalsProfessionalismProven record of sales growth Exceptional Critical ThinkingExperience in managing sales or marketing teamsEducation and Experience Requirements:BA in business administration or a related field3 -5 years of sales experienceMust Have’sMust be able to develop a sound business development plan and strategy.Must be able to do a basic market opportunity assessment.Must have functional sales forecasting skills.Must have functional knowledge of basic financial ratios.Must have strong research skills.Must have an understanding of the current and target market segments.Must know client behavior and expectations.Must have a strong understanding of the market and how it affects the businessMust have exceptional critical thinking skills
