Job Title: Retrofit and Renewable Energy Project Manager
Location: Jarrow, Tyne and Wear
Salary: Up to £50,000 (plus Car or allowance)

About the Role:
The Retrofit and Renewable Energy Project Manager will oversee the technical delivery team, ensuring high-quality assessments under various retrofit and renewable schemes. The role involves managing direct labour and subcontractors, maintaining assessment quality, and supporting UKAS accreditation processes.
Responsibilities for Renewable Energy Project Manager:
* Lead a team of UK-wide assessors, including conducting quarterly one-to-ones, managing technical queries, and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
* Conduct site observations, internal quality management, and standardization meetings.
* Oversee subcontractor management, talent development, and resource identification.
* Provide technical support to head office, ensure adherence to standards and legislation, and contribute to strategic planning.
* Participate in sales and marketing efforts, including attending events, cross-selling, and content creation.
* Perform key account assessments, head office assessments, and PAS 2038 assessments.
* Lead UKAS site inspections and verifications.
Skills and Qualifications for Renewable Energy Project Manager:
Essential:
* Minimum of 5 years in the Retrofit/ECO industry with a solid understanding of PAS 2035.
* At least 5 years of managing remote teams.
* 2 years in a compliance/auditing/assessment role.
Desirable:
* GDA, DEA, or equivalent (Retrofit Assessor).
* Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination.
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
* Relevant qualifications for renewable energy technologies and health and safety.
