You will oversee advertising efforts and lead a team of hardworking and consultative sales professionals. We want someone who has a passion for working with clients, developing relationships externally and internally, is proficient in public speaking and engaged with the local market.What You’ll DoIn collaboration with the Head of NA Sales, define the regional sales growth strategy for enterprise sellers in Canada while driving execution, setting ambitious and achievable plans and targets to support profitable revenue growthManage sales forecasts accurately, set budgets and goals for the sales teamImplement/lead/oversee client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledgeRepresent the Spotify Brand at client/agency summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotesHire, manage, mentor & develop a DOS within the regionHire, manage & develop the growing Enterprise Sales team including salespeople & support staffBuild upon established relationships and develop new relationships with key industry executive decision-makers across CanadaAnalyze, validate and update sales performance and critical metrics to maximize growthDevelop standard methodologies and demonstrate efficiencies that can scale from local to globalMaintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externallyWho You AreYou have 12+ years of digital advertising / marketing sales experience including 8+ years in sales leadership which also includes 5+ years of larger staff managementYou have outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational discipline that can lead a team to efficiently and effectively move important revenue initiatives throughout a large organization with high velocityYou are highly motivated, organized and entrepreneurialYou recognize the value in working as a teamYou are upbeat and willing to thrive in a high growth organizationYou have strong region-based agency & brand relationshipsYou have great communication, consultative selling, problem solving and negotiating skillsYou strategically use data and insights to inform client investment strategyYou effectively position Spotify’s ad solutions through creative storytellingYou have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around digital, programmatic, audio/video best practices, opportunities, and challengesA strong understanding and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying within digital, video & audio environmentYou possess an existing network of senior level contacts in media and marketingYou have mastered the fundamentals of sales management and leadership including forecasting, client research, pitch and presentations skills, bottoms up planning, and meeting reportsYou have leadership experience with successful management skills and lead by exampleWhere You’ll BeThis position will be based in Toronto, CanadaSpotify is an equal opportunity employer.
