HGV Technician

HGV Technician Permanent Full-Time Salary negotiable dependent on experience Portsmouth We are currently assisting our client who is looking to hire an experienced HGV Technician for their Portsmouth Depot. The role involves carrying out all aspects of service, repair and maintenance work on all commercial vehicles that are booked into the workshop. You will liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service Team to ensure the best customer service for their clients. Duties: * Calculate and manage the effective use of workshop resources for the business. * Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. * Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components. * Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs. * Producing time estimates. * Maintaining repair and service records Benefits: * A Competitive Basic Salary * Overtime available but not guaranteed * Weekly Pay * A supportive Management Structure * Full Systems & Process Training * Company Pension * Future Development Opportunities with Group.
