Bilingual Patient Services Specialist / Reimbursement Specialist

The Patient Services Specialist is a key member of the Patient Services team at McKesson Specialty. They are responsible for coordinating and delivering services related to patient support programs. This role involves interacting with patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to explore and obtain coverage for prescribed medication, as well as managing patient cases.
Requirements:- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be bilingual in French/English
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Organized with high attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Enroll patients in the Patient Support Program
- Liaise with patients, insurers, and physicians regarding documentation for reimbursement coverage
- Conduct patient financial assessments
- Respond to general inquiries and provide information based on program materials
- Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure patient access to treatment
- Monitor patient files for timely reimbursement renewals
- Process documents supporting patient care
- Report Adverse Events as required
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Compensation: $50, $52,000.00
