The highly acclaimed Interior Design studio located in Vancouver, BC is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Interior Designer to join the team! We are looking for an Interior Designer that can work on multiple high-end projects simultaneously (residential, hospitality AND multi-family design). This is a full-time position and only local candidates should apply. Job description:Work with the design team to produce innovative, highly creative and bespoke interior design projectsSupport the design team by drafting thorough and detailed construction drawing packagesCoordinate with external team such as architects, mechanical, electrical and structural engineersSource finishes, furniture and FF&EModel spaces in SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop, or other rendering programsWork collaborative and independently to achieve project deadlines Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Must be local to Vancouver, BCMinimum 5 years’ experienceHold a Degree or Diploma in Interior DesignAdvanced knowledge of AutoCAD softwareKnowledge of Sketch-Up, Photoshop and InDesignExcellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and millwork packagesUnderstanding of BC Building CodeFamiliarity with Hospitality, Retail and Residential Design (Multi-Family and Single Family)A keen eye for detailExcellent time management skillsStrong communication skills.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a teamMust have a positive attitude and be enthusiasticEmail your cover letter, resume and three samples of work in PDF form Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressDental careExtended health careOn-site parking
