The basics:
Job Title: Hydraulic service engineer
Salary: Up to £42000 DOE + Overtime = earnings of £55000 and upwards
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.00am-4.30pm
Location: Workshop based in Burton upon Trent with travel required to customers across the UK
Work Environment: Mixture of workshop and customer facing role working onsite at customers in environments such as Manufacturing.
Travel and expenses: Company van available for site visits and all expenses paid
Overview:

We now require an additional Hydraulic service engineer to join the team working in the workshop and onsite work being customer facing and representing the company.
Key responsibilities of the Hydraulic service engineer:
- Stripping of cylinders
- Diagnosis of faults on cylinders
- Re-sealing cylinders
- Pressure test cylinders
- Site services - hose changes
- Fault diagnosis on hydraulic systems
- Service, strip and re-seal valves
- Service, repair, strip and rebuild hydraulic applications/machinery - example hydraulic presses
- Fix hose related issues
- Fabrication, welding, machining - general work shop duties
The ideal candidate / Hydraulic service engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working with hydraulic applications
- Customer focused
- Presentable
- Strong people skills
- Time served apprentice trained mechanically
- Any welding, fabrication, and manual machining beneficial
- Driving license with own transport and within a commutable distance to Burton
