Construction Planner Permanent- Merseyside £40k-£80k ( DOE ) Be part of skyline changing projects! Progress your Planning career! My client is a leading contractor that delivers high end luxury apartments. Due to an increase in work load they are looking for a Construction Planner to join them. The Construction Planner they are looking for will have previous main building contractor experience. The scopes of works ranges from £20million up to £150million plus. Key activities: Develop construction schedules from Target Cost Estimates -Develop construction schedules from design work packs Utilise Primavera Planning software Ensure compliance with workflow process Assist project manager with interphase between design and construction Liaise with asset planners to ensure project resource requirements are included in asset schedules Integrate with estimating functions to full understand schedule requirements Maintain up to date project plans for EPC activity reflecting client priorities, incorporating change, optimising resource and identifying constraints Analyse project plans utilizing critical path analysis and develop scenarios to present to the project management team. Apply industry standard reporting techniques for schedule and cost reporting (EVM,CPI,SPI) Support any improvement or benchmarking activities relating to Planning & Cost control Experience required: -Previous Experience working for a main building contractor -Familiar with project planning processes - Proficient in the use of primavera planning Software. (P6) - Computer literate (Microsoft Package) -ASTA Knowledge and understanding This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established main building contractor.
