Locum Histopathology Biomedical Scientist - West Midlands - Start ASAP

Hunter Gatherer AHP has a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Biomedical Scientist with a background in Histopathology to join a busy NHS hospital based in the West Midlands. Please note that for this role you must have at least 6 months UK experience within a Histology laboratory. Job Title: Band 6 Location: West Midlands Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Rate of pay: £24-£26 dependant on experience paid via an accredited umbrella company. Requirements and qualifications required for this role: Current and valid registration with the HCPC. Proven experience within Microtomy, cutting between 25-30 quality sections per hour. Embedding experience desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Embedding experience desirable.
