This is a hybrid work opportunity.  What you will do: Strongly serving and supporting the Product Owner and Development Team in their delivery. Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile. Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most of self organization. Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. What you bring to the table: Required: Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the IT Project Management area Experience working on Guidewire suite of products for at least 3 years. OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the IT Project Management area related to Guidewire suite. AND Experience in strategic and operational consulting or business systems integration. Scrum Master experience in Agile setting. Knowledge of Agile development frameworks in large-scale Scrum. Experience working with project management tools, such as Jira. Preferred: Project Management Professional Certification. Understand business priorities to effectively coordinate multiple streams of work at one time. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting. Certification on at least one of the Agile frameworks as a lead/ScrumMaster – is a must. Insurtech enthusiast. Ability to understand technical complexities of the project and recommend solution options to the team. Experience working on large scale transformation Guidewire projects with multiple upstream systems (e.g. CRM, financial systems etc). Able to understand business needs, then guide the scrum teams to capture appropriate epics or stories. Implement an effective config management strategy for the program. Present solution options and project status to the leadership, represent project team in decision group meetings working closely with product owner and SMEs. Analyze, design and implement solutions for the P&C line of business for Insurance industry. Understanding of the Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter data model.
