Maintenance Manager - Power Station

Maintenance Manager – Powe Station Up to £65,000 + bonus + benefits Suffolk area MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join a biomass power station in the Suffolk area. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance function, including a team of multi skilled technicians, ensuring plant downtime is kept to a minimum. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for: Manage short and long term maintenance objectives for the site Managing and directing a team of multi skilled technicians to ensure minimum plant downtime and maximum availability Planning and executing plant shutdowns/outages Managing the departments maintenance budget Oversee the management of the maintenance schedule Develop and maintain records of plant maintenance including work orders, PPMs and planned and unplanned outages and inspections Overseeing on site contractors To be considered for this role you should have: A minimum of a HNC in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally mechanical Experience in a management or supervisory level role At least 5 years of experience in maintenance/engineering in a relevant heavy process industry, ideally power generation but industries such as chemical production, steel works, aggregates or similar.
