We want to see you succeeding in your endeavor and be part of our family.Job Description: Electrotechnician:Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the electromechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, modifies, repairs, and adjusts various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment while adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the proper functioning of production equipmentOversee programming and proper functioning of PLCsPerform repairs and adjustments on various automated equipment (troubleshooting)Make modifications to PLC and PC programmingOptimize and improve manufacturing processes and machine sequencesBe responsible for instrumentationWork closely with production team members to identify equipment-related issues and find solutionsInstall various types of automated equipmentDevelop technical expertise for problem-solving and continuous equipment improvementFollow up and implement the preventive maintenance programParticipate in the modification, improvement, and implementation of the production lineManage priorities based on production emergenciesEnsure continuity of tasks between different shiftsApply company health and safety regulations at all timesWrite follow-up reportsComply with HACCP and SQF standardsRequired D.E.C. or D.E.P. in electronics or instrumentationTwo (2) years+ of experience as an electrotechnician in a manufacturing environmentHolder of an Electrical Certificate (CÉ) or “C” licenseExperience in electrical component welding (essential)Experience with PLC and PC programmingWilling to work in Boisbriand, Rougemont, or St-Damase.4 days of work per week from Monday to Thursday. Day shift or night shift from 10:00 PM to 8:15 AM.Good communication in English or French.Desired SkillsStrong teamwork skillsLogical thinking and effective problem-solving abilitiesVersatile, autonomous, and adaptableCurious, with a strong sense of initiative and resourcefulnessAbility to work in a constantly changing environmentGood manual dexterityMust have own basic toolset
