For the successful Service Engineer our client is offering:
- Competitive salary paying up to £43,290 Per Annum - Depending on experience

The role – Service Engineer:
- Our client is currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer who will be covering the ST Albans & surrounding areas
- Maintain cranes, prolonging the life of the equipment under our remit by means of preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Reduce avoidable costs where possible for the group by achieving first time fix rate.
- Advise the group/site in crane related and lifting operation matters.
- Reduce crane breakdowns by Preventative Maintenance on component items.
- Carry out fault diagnosis and route cause analysis on components after failure.
- Completion of Risk Assessment/Method Statements and Point of Work Risk Assessments.
- Collate crane performance data and send monthly reports to manager for all sites.
- Understand and deploy continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to optimise crane availability, reliability and performance.
What our client is looking for in a Service engineer:
- Will have demonstrable technical experience with a similar, mobile service role.
- Possess the necessary experience in working with relevant mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems.
- Will have existing knowledge of some of the following plants would be beneficial: i.e forklifts
- Will need to be flexible with regard to travel, tasks performed, and working hours.
- Should be comfortable working independently and be an effective problem solver.
- Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence
