Job Requirements / Description
Our client is a succesful SME business that is looking for a Part Time (3 days approx) Accounts Assistant to join their team. The role will be based in the office and work closely with the Financial Controller but hours can be flexible (spread over 5 days or condensed into 3 to suit) Salary range is approx £28-35k FTE depending on experience Role Description * Resolve sales invoice queries internally and externally * Credit Control * Pursue overdue invoices * Producing and sending out statements of account * Posting and allocating customer payments in Sage, processing customer payments made over the phone. * Maintain a detailed log in the accounting system * Check new customers and for credit limit approval. * Monthly/Fortnightly aged debtors reporting to financial controller, ensuring the risk of bad debt is minimised. * Enter supplier invoices/credit notes in Sage * Check receipts for fuel against invoices received from fuel card company * Managing any invoice queries that arise and ensuring all issues are resolved. * Tally petty cash with receipts at the end of each month. * Order stationery and domestic supplies, tea, coffee, paper towel etc * Support Financial Controller on day-to-day activities
