Food and Nutrition Technician

Food and Nutrition Technician We seek to appoint a technician who is able to give a variety of practical support to students and teachers for lessons and examinations in the busy Food Department. The Food Technician enables the smooth running of lessons. This includes preparation for lessons, supporting students in accessing the curriculum, maintenance, cleaning, stock control and ordering of ingredients. The ability to establish positive and effective relationships with students and colleagues whilst demonstrating patience, tact and diplomacy at all times is essential. Knowledge of food hygiene standards is vital and full training can be given if required. The appointed candidate will be flexible in their approach to the wide-range of work undertaken – and will be an intrinsic part of the support staff team.
