Your MissionAs an Engineering Program Manager at Hydrostor, you will hold a pivotal role that will have a significant impact on our organization's engineering programs and power generation projects. You will oversee technical programs, manage spending, and maintain control over the execution of programs, studies and initiatives. This role involves consolidating program controls, change management, safety, and compliance at the program level while providing crucial support to systems engineers. Your operational leadership will drive the successful implementation of our programs and technology, driving successful implementation of our projects and ensuring that cross-functional teams work on the right tasks and program progression is efficiently managed.Your Day-to-Day AdventuresTechnical Program OversightFollow program management plans including schedule, change management, work breakdown structure and design reviews. Work with the product, system engineering and commercial teams to develop system requirements and program deliverables.Maintain oversight of technical programs or strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.Follow up with technical teams on program progress and task completion.Program-Level Control and ComplianceUse program controls, change management processes, safety protocols, and compliance standards at the program level.Push critical information and best practices to Project teams to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.Identify program risks early and come up with mitigation strategies.Operations Engineering SupportProvide operational support to systems engineers, assisting in the successful execution of programs.Collaborate closely with technical teams to identify and address operational challenges.Team Leadership and Check-InsAct as an operational leader, ensuring that the right individuals are assigned to the appropriate tasks and following up on their progress.Develop and lead regular team meetings and program progression check-ins.Program SchedulingOversee program scheduling, ensuring that timelines are met, and project milestones are achieved.Who You AreThe successful candidate for this role is a seasoned Engineering Program/Project Manager with previous exposure in power generation or energy projects. They are a results-driven leader with an understanding of technical programs/projects, programs/project controls, and compliance. This individual excels in consolidating information, fostering collaboration, and providing critical support to systems engineers. Program management experience and PMP certification is a valuable asset.What You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldProven experience in Engineering Program/Project Management, with exposure to power generation or other energy projectsStrong program management skillsExceptional leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering collaborationFamiliarity with power plant design, planning or operationsA track record of successful program control and compliance managementTo Apply:To apply for this position, submit your resume by clicking “Easy Apply”.
