Job Description Position: Vehicle Technician Location: Leicestershire Type: Independent Salary: £36,000 + Bonus Our client, an independent garage in Leicestershire, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. Benefits: Basic Salary: £36,000 + bonus Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (No weekend work) Holidays: 22 days holiday + bank holidays Pension SchemeKey Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repairs: Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard. Efficiency and Effectiveness: As a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic, you will carry out all work completely and effectively. Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues. Technical Skills: Apply technical knowledge to solve mechanical and electrical problems. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repairs to customers. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations while working on vehicles. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed.Minimum Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). Experience: At least 5 years' experience working in a dealership as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic (or similar). Driving License: Must have a valid driving license. MOT License: Preferred but not essential.
