Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

In the role of Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) you will support strategic decision making and financial planning across IWBC. This role entails developing and building complex financial models to support the quarterly and annual budgetary and reporting cycles, long-term forecasting requirements as well as creating critical financial reports and analyses for strategic initiatives. The Manager, FP&A produces regular documents and analyses as required by the business.

This role can be based in Toronto or Kelowna.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Ensure stakeholders have timely, detailed, and accuratemonthly reports, variance analysis, and trend analysis foreffective decision-making.
• Summarize the financial performance of each initiative andprovides monthly financial reviews for Senior ManagementTeam meetings.
• Identify and explain underlying business trends, financialimplications of strategic decisions, growth opportunities, andbusiness risk.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterlyforecasts.
• Maintain and update process documentation for areas of responsibility.

Skills & Experiences Needed:

• Completed bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
• Analytical: A detail-oriented, organized, and analytical teamplayer who is eager to learn
• Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets/excel and datareporting tools (ie: Tableau, Qlik,etc)
• Ability to translate data into useful information, andcommunicate key findings to non-finance stakeholders.
