Specification Technologist

Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce we are working with one of our high-profile clients in the Food Manufacturing sector to appoint a new Specifications Technician. Job Title: Specification Technologist Location Brompton-on- Swale Salary: up to £29,000 per annum Type: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday Role: As the Specifications Technician you will create and maintain specifications of raw materials and finished products. Duties: · Generate and review specifications of raw materials and finished products for the company and client. · Conduct audit and review of product launch procedures. · Supervise the company’s supplier approval procedure and keep all approved supplier logs up to date. · Make Sure supply chain maps are available and kept up to date for all raw materials. · Ensure raw materials and finished products specifications are adhered for product launches. · Produce QAS / colour standards for production / development. · Other reasonable duties allocated by the Head of Technical. Requirements: · Previous experience working in a Specification Technologist role. · Experience working with raw materials within the food manufacture industry.
