This role will proactively lead the development, the implementation and the maintenance of innovative, strategic people analytics, based on modern tools, to enable organizational decisions regarding talent, compensation, diversity, organizational design, development, and workforce planning. In addition, the Director, Talent Intelligence will also ensure sound data management practices, reporting, real time dashboards, system maintenance and enhancements for HR technology to drive a progressive and innovative employee experience. Areas of focus include:Lead the Talent Intelligence roadmap, aligning talent tools and insights with business goals to drive organizational performance and innovation;Collaborate with HR, business leaders and other key stakeholders (e.g. local IT, parent company IT, etc.) to align people and culture with organizational goals. Create and refine key metrics, to tell the workforce story to various audiences, to resolve data issues, and to recommend pro-active solutions. Focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent;Drive the innovative design and delivery of real-time talent analytics and insights tools and dashboards, scorecards, and reports enterprise-wide and by line of business, including executive and board reports, to provide pro-active actionable insights into workforce trends, provide meaningful recommendations and enable business decision-making. Marry data driven insights with qualitative information to identify gaps and drive workforce readiness and performance;Lead a team of talent intelligence and people analytics professionals to ensure successful execution of the people and culture digital roadmap;Oversee and implement “next practices” in diversity, equity and inclusion talent practices with the compilation, consolidation and analysis of people and diversity data and metrics from multiple sources, using a variety of data analysis and modelling techniques and tools to produce real-time reports, dashboards, and presentations;Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy by performing regular data audits, and by creating and maintaining HR reporting procedures documentation to standardize and streamline metrics across HR;Oversee the research and external trends analysis with internal data for various purposes, such as market competitiveness, pay equity, Employee Value Proposition, benefits plan review, etc.;Oversee the system administrator for the HRIS, work with vendor’s support team and lead configuration, testing and troubleshooting for enhancements in collaboration with the HR team;Coach team members and stakeholders on digitization, data analytics and data visualizations.DESIRED PROFILE (Qualifications, Skills and Experience):Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science or related field.Proven experience implementing data processes and systems (people analytics, roadmaps, dashboard, data visualization tools) to enable data-supported, insights-driven business decisions across the HR function, ideally within the insurance and/or financial services industry.Strong leadership skills with a track record of collaborating across the HR team and the broader organization to drive strategic talent initiatives.Expertise in using analytics tools, dashboards, and various data visualization techniques to provide actionable insights for pro-active talent management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders, present findings, and influence talent decisions – the ability to drive change and influence others.Proven ability to stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and “next practices” in talent intelligence, people analytics and HR digitization.Solid working knowledge of HR data, analysis techniques, statistical modelling, predictive modelling, and data visualization.Excellent research, problem-solving, storytelling and consulting skills to be able to provide meaningful interpretations from data, and to articulate them in a clear and impactful way.Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, sound judgement.Critical thinking skills, organized, with high attention to detail.Previous experience with HR technologies, such as Dayforce, would be an asset.Flexibility and adaptability to a complex and agile environment.
