Senior Quantum / Claims Surveyor

Our client is a recognised and highly respected International Construction Consultancy involved the delivery of complex high value Construction and Infrastructure projects Projects throughout the UK and Overseas. To support the Commercial Leader and wider team from their Edinburgh or Glasgow office they now require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with “Quantum Claims Advisory / Dispute Resolution” or Arbitration experience to join the specialist team within the business. The role will involve the forensic analysis, investigation and interrogation of a number of project Accounts and claims preparation and defence on a range of schemes. Ideally you will have had exposure to Forensic / Quantum & Final Account preparation and will have had some Claims management consultancy work where your commercial skills will have been fully utilised. The ideal Commercial / Senior Quantity Surveyor candidate will have a methodical approach and a real eye for detail which allows you to analyse where, when and why contractual breaches and programme delays have occurred and effectively report and advise clients on remedial actions by producing clear findings and impartial advice.
