Ready to get started?Main responsibilities:Define and refine how Data Science can accelerate Sanofi digital products, with the goal of using data science to better understand the patient journey and to help us tailor interventions that maximize patient benefit.Directly engage with external data partners to evaluate and build relationships to acquire and access real-world data assets.Use data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define and deliver AI-based data products to accelerate and optimize R&D.Understanding and effectively work with a wide variety of data sources, such as unstructured data, omics, wearable device data (for example accelerometry and ECG), voice recordings, imaging data, electronic health records, social media postings or operational data.Generate work products that include interactive visualizations, presentations, publications, web applications, predictive algorithms, and APIs.Build models, algorithms, simulations, and performance evaluation by writing highly optimized, deployable code and using state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.Assist and train assistants and other members of the team on how to properly organize findings and read data collected.About youExperience:Experience developing deployable code and deploying models in product-focused development under an agile environment.Excellent management and articulation of a team of Data Scientists.Experience in a healthcare company is a strong plus.Soft skills:Experience working with multiple teams to drive alignment and results.Excellent business analysis, data visualization and data storytelling skills.Technical skills:Expertise with core data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala), and familiarity with different database systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).Expertise with sensitive data in critical environments (healthcare, defense,...).Expertise within most of the following areas: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, LLMs, reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, optimization.Comfortable working in cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Databricks, Apache Spark).Hands-on AI/ML modeling experience of complex datasets combined with strong understanding of theoretical foundations of AI/ML (CI/CD, Orchestration).Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Plotly or similar.Experience with various enterprise-level Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).Experience with database mining, big data, and large-scale virtual screening using Bayesian Optimization or Gaussian Processes is desired.Good knowledge of AI regulations.Education:Master's Degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, computational sciences or a related quantitative discipline OR PhD + 3 years of relevant work & domain experience.Languages: EnglishWhy choose us?We provide a highly collaborative environment, with an opportunity to work with a world-class team.Contribute to a company that is not only a leader in healthcare but also a pioneer in digital transformation, shaping the future of global health.Bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future-focused team.Discover endless opportunities to grow your talent and drive your career, whether it’s through a promotion or lateral move, at home or internationally.Enjoy a thoughtful, well-crafted rewards package that recognizes your contribution and amplifies your impact.Take good care of yourself and your family, with a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits including high-quality healthcare, prevention and wellness programs and at least 14 weeks’ gender-neutral parental leave.Play an instrumental part in creating best practice within our manufacturing facility.Pursue Progress.
