Litigation Associate (First Nations)

4-6 Years | Remote – AB/BC

We are working with a boutique law firm specializing exclusively in acting for First Nations, now seeking a mid-level associate around 4 to 6 years of call, to join their dynamic team. The role includes litigation, treaty enforcement litigation through the Federal Courts, labour and employment law, First Nations governance, policy development, as well as economic development work. If you have experience in some of these areas (particularly Federal Court experience) and are passionate about serving Indigenous communities and Nations, this role is for you.

Their office is in Edmonton, but they are also open to a lawyer working remotely somewhere in Western Canada, so long as they have the right profile.

This is a terrific opportunity for an entrepreneurial lawyer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team on complex legal issues, all within a congenial firm dedicated to the communities and people they serve.
