About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trading Analyst to join our Trading and Optimization team. As a key member of the team, you will support and direct traders towards value, enabling them to make quick and informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide robust fundamental analysis to inform trading decisions
- Engage in trading strategies and develop and maintain models
- Review past analysis and own pricing tools and trading-decision models
- Provide market and competitor intelligence and spot areas to add value
About You
You will need to have a degree-level education in a numerate subject, such as science, maths, economics, or engineering. You will also need to have working knowledge of UK power markets and experience with statistical and fundamental modelling using IT techniques such as SQL, Python, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools.
