Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Providing compassionate, professional care to patients undergoing mammography or BMD procedures.
  • Procedure Execution: Accurately performing diagnostic procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Equipment Management: Maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting mammography and BMD equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Result Analysis: Analyzing test results accurately and promptly, providing detailed reports to physicians for diagnosis.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with medical professionals, including radiologists and nursing staff, to ensure the best patient care.

Qualifications

  • Registered with CMRITO.
  • A degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution in Ontario.
  • Certification in Mammography
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent patient service skills and the ability to explain procedures clearly.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for patient scheduling, record keeping, and report generation.
