Responsibilities: Use your expertise as an SEN English Teacher to design individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of students with special educational needs. Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with a variety of learning difficulties, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. Work in collaboration with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to create comprehensive support strategies for students. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for KS2-KS4 students where all students feel valued and supported in their academic and personal development. Monitor student progress and assess their individual needs, adapting teaching methods and resources as needed. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with special educational needs as a SEN English Teacher. Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities, along with effective strategies for supporting students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning. Candidates with previous experience and those with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
