1. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
2. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
3. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
4. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
5. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
