Job Role: Van Mechanic / Vehicle Technician Location: Andover, Hampshire Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role Working hours / days: 07:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday Annual Salary: £35,000 - $40,000 depending on experience Job description: Are you an experienced Van Mechanic / Vehicle Technician? My client is a well-established workshop facility that specialises in commercial vehicle maintenance. At this time, they have an opening for an Van Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join them to work on a Monday – Friday DAY SHIFT. You will be responsible for the ongoing inspection, service, maintenance and repair on a wide range of cars and vans operated by my client and their customers. A significant part of this role will be preparing the vehicles presented to you for their MOT inspections. Daily duties: * Maintain all Cars / Vans and equipment to company/legal standards to ensure maximum operational availability for the Transport Department * Ensure that the care and condition of all Company equipment is maintained and report all defects/damages * Maintain a recording monitoring system to comply with legal and company requirements * Promote safe working practices and ensure that site Health & Safety standards comply with Company Policy Working Hours / Rates: This role is available on a straight Monday – Friday DAY Shift 07:30 - 17:30 with an hour lunch break Basic salary will range from £35,000 - £40,000 depending on your skills and experience What we need from you: * Completed a full Mechanics apprenticeship * Your own tools * Full UK driving license * Ability to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance across a wide range of manufacturers To make an application for this role, apply via this advert or alternatively call Gary on (phone number removed) for further information.
