Site Facilities Assistant

Full time/Permanent Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 Location: Ulverston Site Maintenance Manager Our client are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of a luxury holiday apartment facility in Ulverston. The Site Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of systems and equipment on site. Duties: • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly • Manage contractors and vendors for facility-related projects • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards • Carry out reactive repair work and solve any guest queries in a timely and effective manner. • Develop ways to improve current operations and on site facilities. Experience: • Proven experience in facilities management • Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and motivating a team • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs • Ability to manage own time effectively and happy to work independently.
