We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support students' learning and development in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, working with small groups or individual students to ensure they understand and complete tasks.
* Student Engagement: Encourage and motivate students to participate in classroom activities, offering additional help where needed.
* Resource Preparation: Help prepare learning materials and resources, ensuring they are ready for use in lessons.
* Behaviour Management: Support the classroom teacher in managing student behaviour, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
* Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support: Work closely with students who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
* Administrative Tasks: Assist with marking, recording progress, and other administrative tasks to support the teaching staff.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
*
Desirable:
* A Level qualifications or equivalent.
* Experience working with students with SEN.
* Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma
