About the role We have a great opportunity for a forward-thinking, self-motivated Business Analyst to join our Claims team. Acting as the link between business and IT partners, your goal will be to help ensure that we’re building the right products and processes to support a second-to-none customer experience. What you’ll do here:   Partner with – and seek feedback from -- different business experts, managers, and teams to help re-engineer and modernize our Claims processes  Work with the product design and/or customer experience designers to translate vision into specifications based on roadmaps  Facilitate workshops to document current business processes and technical systems and help to identify potential efficiencies  Write clear agile stories that help propel engineering work with the help of the product design team  Guide and co-ordinate the plan, design, execution, and validation of test cases  Participate in planning, demos, committees, and retrospectives  Execute roadmaps based on client feedback and analytics insights  Support change management planning and delivery  Communicate project progress accordingly to those involved and/or impacted  Support the engagement and efficiency of the team  Act as the alternate go-to source for the agile team  You are:   Big-picture thinking, with a laser focus on details  Skilled at translating complex subjects into themes that are easy to understand  A true people person and a natural collaborator  Exceptionally organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and can embrace change  Forward thinking, with an innovative mindset  Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.  Self-driven, entrepreneurial – a natural project leader  Skilled at building relationships  Creative, analytical, curious  Adept at pivoting and leading others through change What you bring to the table:   Experience documenting and analyzing work processes and working with operational teams to improve those processes At least 1 year's relevant experience as a business analyst P&C Insurance and claims experience an asset  Experience working in an agile Scrum / matrix environment an asset  Excellent oral and written communication skills  Fantastic presentation skills – plus excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio  Business Analyst experience an asset  Design Thinking and Customer Journey mapping experience an asset  Lean/Six Sigma experience or accreditation an asset  Bilingualism required (French / English) – No Canadian work experience required, but need to have authorization to work in Canada. #LI-Hybrid What we offer Working here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
