The Job Mission As a Senior Pool-Liner-Tank (PLT) Design Engineer within our Civil Engineering Team, you will: ??Produce and review input data, justifications, and substantiation for steel-lined pools, tanks, and inner containment. ??Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, designers, and contractors. ??Review and accept detailed design documents for steel-lined pools, tanks, and inner containment. ??Manage design configuration, including changes and load management processes. ??Interface with civil designers to ensure timely delivery of design inputs. ??Contribute to CDM reviews and maintain the Design Risk Register. ??Liaise with site-based engineering teams to support construction. ??Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure design integrity. Qualifications ?? Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills: ?? Bachelors' or Masters' degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. ?? Experience in nuclear civil work or complex structures. ?? Expertise in the design of concrete structures. ?? Experience with steel-lined pools, tanks, and inner containment design. ?? Proficiency in Eurocodes, American codes, and/or ETC-C. ?? Knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations, including CDM 2015. ?? Strong understanding of seismic loading on structures. Desired Skills: ?? Progressing towards or motivated to achieve chartership with ICE or IStructE. ?? Experience in reinforcement detailing and engineering calculations. ?? Prior work on large, complex projects. ?? Strong communication skills for presenting technical topics. ?? Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Additional Information ??
