About the role: As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students during their most formative years. You’ll be working closely with teachers to provide targeted support through boosters and interventions, ensuring that every child receives the attention they need to succeed. Your role will be varied and engaging, as you’ll be involved in classroom activities, one-on-one support, and small group sessions tailored to meet individual learning needs. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments while still making a significant contribution to the education of young learners. Application Requirements: • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential. • Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred, especially with Key Stage 2 students. • An understanding of SEN and experience supporting students with special needs is an advantage. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • A flexible, proactive approach to your work, with a willingness to participate in a trial day as part of the selection process. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and interventions for Key Stage 2 students. • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to children with varying educational needs. • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
