HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV 1 Driver (Weekends)

Part-time weekend work (Guaranteed until December 2024) Saturday - £20.23ph Sunday - £21.25ph 8 hours minimum guaranteed per shift.   Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for regular, reliable part-time work? Pertemps have multiple openings for Class 1 C+E drivers to work weekend with our client, GXO, based in Newark. You will be required to transport electrical goods to Curry’s stores or warehouses/RDCs. While delivering at a store you will not have to tip the load yourself but may be required to move the stock with a pump truck to allow for it to be unloaded.  Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment / induction, this is paid on completion and will take 8 hrs and includes:  Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge.
