Caretaker

Position: Estates Caretaker Location: Shepherds bush - London Duration: On going - could lead to a permanent contract Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 35 hours per week Hourly Rate: £13.20 PAYE | £14.98 UMB rates including holiday pay Are you an experienced caretaker or cleaner with excellent communication skills looking for a rewarding opportunity in social housing? We have an exciting opening for a caretaker to join our team at an established housing company managing thousands of homes across London. Why Work With Us: Established housing company with excellent career prospects Opportunity for skill development and career advancement Ongoing role with potential for further employment Supportive work environmentResponsibilities: Communal cleaning: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter picking, etc. Basic repairs/maintenance: changing door handles, handrails, replacing light bulbs Reporting any anti-social behavior Dealing with contractors Working to a schedule/rota for the bin stores, ensuring readiness for collection Clearing bin stores Ensuring health and safety on-site for yourself and residentsRequirements: Up to date DBS/CRB check within the last year (essential) Previous experience as a caretaker preferred but not essential Experience in cleaning and customer service preferred Good communication skills Ability to send emails and read/write in English Health and safety conscious Must have a 'can do' attitudeIf you are interested, please apply with your CV and contact details.
