Tax Accountant – Retford – Competitive Salary + Benefits

 Tax Accountant key responsibilities:

• Preparation of the annual corporation tax computations for the UK companies within the group
• Supporting the year-end tax reporting process under both UK GAAP and IFRS – including preparation of the tax disclosures in the annual statutory accounts
• Calculating the quarterly tax instalment payments for the group
• Contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in tax accounting
• Ad-hoc project/other work alongside the Tax Manager

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CTA)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of UK corporate tax legislation
• Strong IFRS tax accounting knowledge and experience
• Experience of dealing with and understanding international tax regimes is beneficial
