Engineering Technologist I

SECTION OR DEPARTMENT: Electronics Division

REPORTS TO: Chris Thompson – QA Assistant Manager

LOCATION: Edmonton

BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

This position will support Quality activities in ED4 new model development operations

• Provide new product team with support managing design related information
• Control and organize drawings using Access database
• Enter required data information into ERPLX systems for all design changes and new product launches

• 3-5 years of experience in electric/electronic manufacturing with quality responsibilities.
• Must have excellent computer skills, knowledge pf Microsoft Office Systems (Excel primary/Access is beneficial)
• Working knowledge of ERPLX systems is beneficial
• Good Verbal and written communication skills and work well with various departments locally and off site
• Candidate must be self-driven and self-taught
• Candidate must have excellent organization skills, good work ethic and motivated
• Must have attention to detail

• Report to Assistant Quality Manager of the Edmonton manufacturing facility.
• Work with and support Quality, New Model, Manufacturing and Engineering to accomplish team objectives with emphasis on meeting targets.
• Work closely with New Model/QA groups
• Works with all departments as needed to support the needs of ED4 and K&S Mexico.
