We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join the passionate team at a prominent Special School located near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, as a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant. Learning Support Assistant Role: * Provide support to students aged 2-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). * Assist pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in achieving their educational goals. * Address both the emotional and educational needs of students. * Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure individualised learning and emotional support. * Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. Learning Support Assistant Requirements: * Prior experience working with SEN is advantageous. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with school staff, parents, and carers. * Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are beneficial. * Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:00. * Must be able to commute to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. * Right to work full time in the UK is essential. * Must have a Child and Adult DBS.
