We partner with social impact entrepreneurs, foundations, nonprofits, governments, and companies to address complex social issues.ROLE: Lead Strategy & Design Consultant - Full TimeLOCATION: Remote + travelVISION: Design lasting solutions that reduce systemic inequality in America and help people thrive.MISSION: Advance the well-being of all people by developing strategies, products, services, and curricula that benefit those most negatively affected by flaws in America’s social systems.ROLE OVERVIEW: The Lead Strategy & Design Consultant will bring a human-centered design lens to challenging social issues. Responsibilities include strategic planning, service design, app design, social impact curriculum design, teaching design thinking, completing work for client portfolios, DC Design systems optimization, and other needs as they arise.The Lead Strategy & Design Consultant will manage concurrent projects with clients in different social impact fields and execute operational priorities. Passion for social impact and experience working on behalf of communities of color are essential.RELEVANT SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND MINDSETS:You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or design-related field and at least 2 years of professional experience.Experience in design research, human-centered design, and client service roles.Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment, manage projects, and write effectively.Flexible, responsible, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.Passion for addressing social problems and working with communities in need.IDEAL SKILLS: Multiple languages, lived experience in relevant communities, aesthetic design, proficiency in design tools, web development, social media strategy, sales background, data science skills.WHY WORK WITH DC DESIGN?Competitive compensation: $75,000-$85,000 DOEBenefits package including PTOEmpowering team cultureTransformative work! #J-18808-Ljbffr
