Airbus Helicopters SAS recrute : Job Description: A vacancy for a System Design Responsible (SDR) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. You will join a transnational team in the department in charge of Vehicle Mission Systems. The mission of the department consists in developing Mission Equipment or Systems and integrating into a Helicopter, such as Outboard Systems (Floatation system, Hoist System, Cargo Hook etc.), Inboard Systems (Seats, Cargo nets, fire extinguisher etc.) or Armament Systems (weapon systems, ballistic protection etc.). This position is ideal for a career start, because you will be working autonomously in an integrated team (SQUAD) under the leadership of an experienced engineer. Your working environment: Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. It is located near the cities of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, which host a rich cultural and tourist offer. Close to the beaches of the Côte Bleue, it offers many options for water sports activities. Your challenges: Your main tasks and responsibilities will include for existing as well as new systems: Along the V-Model: Collection and summary of customer requirements, creation of application concept; Creation of the necessary specifications and documents (system, function and equipment) as well as their validations together with the necessary specialist department; Development of the system together with the specialist colleagues from environment, safety, electrics, hydraulics, human-machine interface, quality, certification, etc.; Accompaniment, execution, management of reviews at supplier or development partner level; Definition and support of tests and integration on component and H/C level; Creation of necessary documents for the approval of the system towards the authorities; Compliance or control / harmonization of inputs and outputs; Ensuring the deliveries agreed in the work package with regard to time, costs and quality as well as the specifications with regard to design regulations; Harmonization of the "Product Sourcing Strategy" in close coordination with the purchasing department, the internal and external customers as well as the authorities; Contribution to technical innovation and research topics. This role will involve some travels for business (once a month) in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Your profile: You will have the following skills and experience: Completed engineering studies in the field of mechanical engineering / design or comparable or technician / master craftsman training with years of professional experience; Knowledge of aviation requirements and their regulations; Knowledge of CATIA/VPM or similar; Confident handling of MS Office and SAP or similar; Knowledge of Helicopter operations (of advantage); Knowledge of paramilitary and military missions (incl. weapon system functional installation, ballistic protection system) (of advantage); Fast comprehension and a high degree of personal responsibility, yet working integratively within a team; Structured and systematic approach to work and problem solving; Proactive, independent, but team- and service-oriented working; Constructive and proactive approach to problems and challenges; Ability to consistently adhere to standards and guidelines and to propose or contribute to continuous improvement; Language Skills: Negotiation level in English (French and German of advantage).
