Welder Fabricator

Job Title: Welder Fabricator Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Dudley Job Type: Starting Temporary but will lead to a permenant oppertunity for the right candidate. Hours are 7-4 Monday to Thursday and 7-2.30 Friday - Standard working week is 41.5 hours and after that overtime paid x 1.3 weekdays and x1.5 Saturday. Holidays commence at 23 Plus bank holidays. Primary Industry: Engineering Salary: £11.44 - £14 per hour Pay dependent upon skill level. Job Duties: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Cutting, shaping, and welding metal components Work will be mainly fabrication but also MIG Welding. Will be working with lighter and heavier fabrications - steel gauge from 1.5mm up to 10mm. Inspecting welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards Working with a variety of metals including sheet metal A production driven and quality focused role – busy environment, well-established and reputable company. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working with sheet metal Experience: At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques Knowledge of metal fabrication processes Understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment Immediate urgent opportunity
