I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions. I'm looking for an Assistant Controller for my client in the West of Montreal, in Saint-Laurent. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2 days remote).Your Responsabilities: - Perform monthly analysis, reconciliation, and variance review - Prepare consolidated balances, including reconciling intercompany balances - Prepare the month and year end closing, including journal entries - Participate in the yearly consolidated financial statement preparation - Participate in annual audits and tax audits - Review processes and implement improvements - File monthly sales tax entries and other government requirements for Canada and USAYour Profile: - Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA designation an asset) - 5 years of relevant experience - Strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of Microsoft D365 (an asset) - Manufacturing knowledge (an asset) - Experience in an international company using multiple currencies (an asset)
