Our client is a Caterer who looks after the facilities on-site at this remand prison. As part of a large business, there is plenty of opportunity for future career progression! What's involved? As a Catering Training Manager at a HMP site, you will be in charge of all training for the prison's who wish to be employed within the catering on site and across the other prisons if transferred. Whilst looking after the training for all prisons, you will also oversee the 2 cafes on site to make sure all purchasing/banking and the running is to the standard expected. Due to the turn over at this prison, all inmates should be trained within 6 weeks of being on site and the average leave time is 8 weeks due to the type of prison that it is. Therefore a lot of training members of the team throughout the staff and adding on extra courses etc any would like to progress. This is a really rewarding role, especially as many can then work directly after their sentence has been served or go into a role outside of the prison in catering. Sound like the role for you?
