Contract: Full time, Permanent, Shift working 1 in 3 weekends

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to support our team at HMP Whitemoor, a category A men's prison.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address mechanical issues
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices
