Sales Executive

We are currently looking for an experienced confident and ambitious Salesperson for an Electrical Distributor in Durham. Our client is a well-established distributor founded 35 years ago, their turnover in 2024 was 50M and they are expanding to 10 branches by the end of 2025. This is an exciting opportunity, where there is plenty room for progression. The candidate must have a background of Sales in Electrical Distribution. Location: Durham Salary: Up to £30,000 Hours: 8am – 5pm Holiday: 22 days rising to 25 – extra 1 day each year of service Annual Profit Share Bonus based on Branch performance Company Pension Opportunity to progress and join an established and growing distributor Duties Include: * Incoming sales enquiries * Proactive outgoing sales calls * Processing all customer returns and supplier debit notes * Daily stock cycle counts * Meeting Customer needs in accordance with targets set * To build and develop the relationships both with customers and suppliers to maintain levels of agreed services and supply links. * Servicing customers at the trade counter, taking orders, booking and selecting goods from the shelf CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE * Experience in sales for Electrical Distributors * Target Driven, Motivated * Strong knowledge of Electrical Products * Reliable * Computer Literate
