Environmental Advisor

Experts in railway electrification engineering across the UK and Europe require an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their team in the Glasgow area. Tasks: * Provide advice on all things environmental across the business * Maintain and share a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices * Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards, such as NR015-L2-ENV-015 * Create and review Environmental and Social Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and Incident Response Plans, including all relevant documentation * Review environmental management requirements * Put together consent applications and pre-application consultations * Ensure all environmental data is recorded correctly and available for review * Develop and deliver environmental training, covering toolbox talks, specific training courses and site inspections Requirements: * Environmental qualification * Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor within the railway, construction, highways or utilities industries * Understanding of UK legislation governing environmental management * Appreciation of Network Rail standards * Member of IEMA * Driving licence This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Environmental Advisor to take the next step in their career with a growing, dynamic company.
