Reporting to the AVP of Communications, the Director of Policy will lead the development and execution of our government relations strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role involves engaging with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to advocate for policies and regulations that support the company's interests.

What you will do:

Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations strategy to advance the company's business goals.

Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.

Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the tech industry and provide strategic advice to the executive team.

Advocate for favorable policies and regulations at the local, state, provincial, and federal levels.

Represent the company at industry conferences, hearings, and other public events.

Collaborate with internal teams, including office of CEO, legal, compliance, and business units, to align government relations activities with company objectives.

Prepare and deliver briefs, reports, and presentations on government relations activities and policy developments.

Manage external consultants to support government relations efforts.

What you will bring:

10+ years experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field,

Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, law, business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.

Proven track record of successful advocacy and relationship-building with government officials and regulatory bodies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and react to regulatory changes.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity.

Bonus points if you are fluent in French
